Apple's Secret Weapon - iPad

Well what do you know; Steve Jobs has outdone himself once more. New iPad is in town and we are all eager to see it in action. This little piece of wondrous technology has already got me drooling all over it. And I bet every apple fan shares my opinion, and why wouldn't they, we expected something like this to cost a considerable amount, but they are giving this tech wonder for just $499 and for the high tech top model that has WiFi and 3G the price will be around $829. Now they got me with those prices, I must say that I am still confused, but that confusion has a smile.

OK, so forget about the price, the issue here is the new iPad. The iPad does not have an external keyboard, nor does it have a mouse, it has an interactive interface and a touch screen. You got it, on screen keyboard. But for those who are accustomed to the old ways you can connect a Bluetooth keyboard on iPad. The dimensions for this tablet-styled PC are:

Height: 9.56 inches (242.8 mm)
Width: 7.47 inches (189.7 mm)
Depth: 0.5 inch (13.4 mm)
Weight: 1.5 pounds (.68 kg) Wi-Fi model; 1.6 pounds (.73 kg) Wi-Fi + 3G model

The iPad display is a 9.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology; it works in 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch. It is also fingerprint resistant, it has what they call oleophobic coating, I don't know what that is, but it sounds expensive. The iPad is running on a 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip processor, the capacity is 16-32 gigabytes or 64GB flash drive.

Apart from that here are some wonderful tech specifications of iPad:
